Food

What do you mean you don't know what to do with all that produce you just dragged home from the market? Look through your favorite cookbooks. Open them up to the index and search for the ingredient in your fridge most likely to turn green first. If something strikes you, make it already!

Cookbooks on my shelf this summer: New Fast Food by Donna Hay, Recipes From America's Small Farms by Joanne Lamb Hayes and Lori Stein with Maura Webber, and A Year in a Vegetarian Kitchen: Easy Seasonal Dishes for Family and Friends by Jack Bishop.

For free recipes galore: log on to foodnetwork.com. Type the name of any fruit or veggie into their recipe search engine and you'll get dozens of great ideas.
